Why right or left?
Because I still don't know right from left. I've had this problem since kindergarten and it's stayed with me all my life! I can't tell you how many times I've given out wrong directions because I said turn right, when they should have turned left.

I have the same problem! Glad you are woman enough to admit it.
Well...if you hold up your index fingers up and stick your thumbs out, your left thumb and finger make an "L"! (Your palms have to be facing away from you.) Quick way to remember left from right.
Why did I not know that? Probably because you never gave me wrong directions... :)
:) Susan, I've never noticed that! Yet we've driven in cars together plenty of times and you've given me tons of directions before....funny I have never noticed!!!! :)
